OC Marathon

Marathoners hit the OC streets to support SHORTSTOP

While the marathon was a personal challenge for some, others used it as an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for SHORTSTOP and the programs of the Orange County Bar Foundation.

 

For many of you that walked or ran the event, you were among a record-breaking crowd of close to 13,000 that participated in this year's run, which started in Newport Beach and featured scenic ocean views on the route to the Orange County fairgrounds in Costa Mesa.  The great news is that attendance was up by almost 30 percent from last year.

 

On behalf of the Orange County Bar Foundation, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of our sponsors this year for also to all of our fundraisers - together you were able to raise over $50,600 which is truly amazing. We couldn’t have done it with out you – Thank you!
