I am delighted to introduce myself as the Associate Director in charge of Fund Development for the Orange County Bar Foundation. I have been with the Foundation for over twelve years and have had the pleasure of working with our wonderful board members, donors, volunteers, and supporters.
As a non-profit organization, the Orange County Bar Foundation relies on funding from a variety of sources, including: corporations, foundations, individual donors, and special events. We know that fundraising can be a challenge, but it can also be rewarding because it helps us reach our goal of keeping at-risk youth out of jail, in school, healthy and drug free through our various educational, mentoring, and counseling programs. This is truly an exciting time for the Foundation. We have recently started a Society of Fellows support group and are fortunate to have a growing number of members who have demonstrated their interest in and loyalty to the Foundation.
Funding is vital to the success of our programs. Now, more than ever, we face the need for increased support. How can you help, you may ask? Simply get involved - consider hitting the green in our annual golf tournament, get active by running or walking in the OC Marathon, inquire on how you can join our Food & Wine Society. You're guaranteed to have a great time as you support the Orange County Bar Foundation.
